Responsibilities

• Provide support to General Manager, in leading and supervising Technical Service Systems Team to render professional engineering support for ensuring all buildings and technical Service systems of AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) are in their best operating condition and at a high degree of quality, reliability and cost-effectiveness and meet all relevant legislation and regulations
• Assist in planning and devising strategies, works plans and processes to upkeep, maintain, replace and upgrade buildings and technical Service systems of AWE in a timely and cost effective manner without compromising AWE’s event and venue operation
• Explore, recommend and implement new initiatives for enhancing the performance of all building systems and facilities, as well as event systems and equipment towards smart and green with reference to the latest technologies, energy efficiency best practices and emerging sustainability trends
• Oversee the operation, maintenance, replacement, integration and strategic development of all Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems with cabling, including CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS), Public Announcement (PA), and walkie-talkie communications, Car Parking system ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and compliance with relevant building codes, emerging technologies and statutory requirements.
• Assist in formulating contracting and tendering strategy on outsourcing respective building facilities systems.  Devise KPI and guidelines in assuring the delivery of quality performance from outsourcing contractors
• Establish and enforce policies, procedures, rules, regulations, manuals and guidelines to govern and guide the Facilities Management Team as well as the outsourcing contractors to observe and follow for delivery of safe and professional facilities maintenance and event technical support works
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required to support events

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, information systems or a related technical field (Preferable in Electronics & Electrical Installation)
• At least 12 years of experience in facilities management systems, building services, or a related industry with 3 years in managerial level
• Extensive technical background in managing BMS, SCADA, CCTV, ACS, DCIM, Digital Mobile Radio (TMR), Car Park Management System, Public Announcement (PA), IoT-based ELV systems supporting facilities, and venue operations.
• Demonstrated knowledge in smart building technologies, energy efficiency, and sustainable best practices
• Proficient in interpreting and applying relevant building codes, environmental regulations, and industry standards
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities
• Passionate about sustainability and driving environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives
