Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the overall operations of both Government VIP Lounge (GVIPL) and HKIA VIP Lounge (HKIAL) to ensure the delivery of world-class lounge services to VIP lounge users with quality and in compliance with the company standards.
  • Supervise the handling of customer inquiries and customer booking process to ensure smooth and efficient booking experience for users.
  • Liaise with the Government and relevant law enforcement authorities to address operational matters related to both VIP Lounges.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders including Airport Authority, airlines, passenger handling agents, baggage handling agents and service partners for quality service delivery at both VIP Lounges
  • Develop and refine lounge operation and customer services strategies with an aim to  enhance productivity, efficiency and service quality with reference to hospitality and lounge industry trends. 
  • Assist in formulating business plan and budget for both VIP Lounges and monitoring the financial performance to ensure achievement of the planned project objectives and financial targets. 
  • Perform any ad hoc assignments as required

 


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Business Administration, Hotel and Hospitality Management or relevant disciplines.
  • 8-10 years of working experience in a sizable organization with relevant experience in Customer Services or hotel management or VIP Lounges management with at least 4-5 years at supervisory level.  
  • Experience in Hotel or Hospitality Management or VIP customer services will be an advantage.
  • Good logical thinking, analytical, communication and organizational skills. 
  • Good leadership skills with the ability to motivate all levels of stakeholders and work under pressure to meet tight timelines and multi-task.
  • Highly customer-oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Chinese word processing. 
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and Mandarin is a plus.
  • Shift duty and irregular duty hours may be required.
