Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the food preparation and ensure consistent high-quality standard in food production
- Ensure food quality and quantity are met standards upon receiving merchandise
- Assist Senior Sous Chef in menu planning, food promotions and cost control, and act as back up in charge during his/her absence
- Responsible for scheduling the duty roster for the kitchen associates
- Maintain kitchen hygiene
- Assist in any ad hoc assignments as required
Requirements:
- F.5 or above with equivalent vocational training certificate
- Minimum 8 years solid experience Western Cuisine with at least 2 years in similar position
- Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processs
- Strong Knowledge of food health, safety, and hygiene compliance
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A good team player, self-starter with can do attitude, and able to work independent
